The Progression Section of BPS has the following 4 main aims for club members:
The second week of each month will see a Progression Group workshop being run. The aim is these will generally last an hour so you can still join in what else is going on that night and will cover a certain aspect of photography, generally with a talk and handout and a pratical demonstration for you to try.
February’s topic is Aperture and March’s topic is Shutter. See the What’s On – Club Nights page for more information.
Other nights will see trips to local exhibitions, discussions on more advanced topics, setting up print runs etc.
If there is anything you would like to get out of the progression section of BPS please get in contact with Louise Williams, either at a club night, via the BPS email address or on facebook messenger. This can be anything from small groups going through camera basics, individual editing sessions concentrating on a few of your photos, more advanced photography skills, printing, hint and tips sheets to entering competitions and submitting images for magazines.
